The New York Knicks continued to spend for quality depth before the end of the July Moratorium, agreeing to terms with veteran center Marcus Camby on a three-year, $13 million contract Monday in a sign-and-trade deal with Houston that will send Toney Douglas, Josh Harrelson and Jerome Jordan to the Rockets, along with two future second-round picks.

would go to Orlando, along with three first-round picks — two from New Jersey and one from Cleveland.

The Cavs would get

Humphries, guard Quentin Richardson from Orlando, guard Sundiata Gaines from the Nets, a first-round pick from the Nets and $3 million.

Later Monday ESPN.com reported that the Clippers would be involved as a fourth team in the proposed trade, receiving

guard MarShon Brooks from the Nets and a future protected first-round pick.

 

 

 

Free agent J.R. Smith has agreed to return to the New York Knicks.

The veteran shooting guard will sign a two-year contract worth $2.8 million, two league sources told ESPNNewYork.com. The deal is guaranteed for the first season and contains a player option for the second season.

Jeremy Lin has verbally agreed to sign a four-year offer sheet with the Houston Rockets on July 11, according to a source close to the talks.

The four-year deal is worth $28.8 million, with $10.2 million coming in the first two seasons and over $9 million in each of the last two. The fourth season is a team option.

The Knicks would have three days to match the offer after Lin, a restricted free agent, signs.

Free agent guard Courtney Lee, who met with Celtics coach Doc Rivers over the weekend, dropped by the Orlando Summer League on Monday afternoon and confirmed that Boston is one of "more than eight teams" in the mix for his services.

After losing sharpshooter Ray Allen to the Miami Heat on Friday, Boston ratcheted up its pursuit of Lee as a possible replacement. He averaged 11.4 points for the Houston Rocketslast season and hit 40 percent of his 3-point attempts.

Free agent forward Grant Hill is still considering at least two other teams–the two teams in last month’s Finals, Miami and Oklahoma City–as well as the Lakers as he decides where he’s going to play next season, according to a source with knowledge of the 39-year-old forward’s thinking.

 

Reports Tuesday indicated that Hill has decided either to play for the Lakers or retire. But the source strongly indicated that Hill has not limited himself to Los Angeles as he makes up his mind. The Lakers emerged as a strong favorite for Hill after they agreed to terms with the Suns last week on a sign-and-trade deal that will send Steve Nash to the Lakers after the end of the July Moratorium on the 11th for four Draft picks and $3 million. But Hill is looking at the Heat and Thunder as well.

 

Each team has indicated an interest in the veteran, whose defensive skills and leadership are still strong. It is not known if Miami’s interest in Hill was at all affected by its agreement last week to sign guard Ray Allen from the Celtics.

 

Hill averaged 10.2 points and 3.5 rebounds in 28 minutes a night last season in Phoenix, where he stabilized his career after losing several years to injuries while a member of the Orlando Magic. He had played in 243 out of a possible 246 games over three seasons with the Suns before suffering a torn meniscus in his right knee that needed surgery late in the regular season and caused Hill to miss the Suns’ drive towards the playoffs, which fell short.

Clippers są zainteresowanie Marco Belinellim, a w grę wchodzi sign and trade, do Nowego Orleanu miałby trafić Ryan Gomes i pick w drafcie. Byłby to niezły ruch, Gomes ostatnie sezony miał gorsze, ale wcześniej nieźle grał w Socie, w dodatku jest w contract year, więc nie jest to ryzykowny ruch, a NOH ma sporą dziurę na SF, więc na trochę minut mógłby liczyć.

 

Knicks już dziś mają wyrównać Lina, to samo z Gordonem zamierzają zrobić Hornets.

 

McGee negocjuje nowy kontrakt z Denver, JaVale jest ich zastrzeżonym wolnym agentem.

At the end of the day, the Brooklyn Nets were going to have a top-10 center. Either they were trading for Dwight Howard or re-signing Brook Lopez.

It will be the latter, because the Nets are done talking with the Orlando Magic about a possible trade for Howard, according to multiple reports. And according to our David Aldridge, the Nets reached a deal with Lopez on a new four-year, $60.8 million contract.

Brad Miller w Hornets. Hornets oddali Socie pick drugiej rundy w 2017 roku (), a oprócz Millera pozyskały pick 2 rundy 2013 (od Nets) i 2016 (Sota) oraz gotówkę.

 

Miller ma contract year, więc ruch rozsądny, bo powinien się w Nowym Orleanie przydać jako nauczyciel dla Smitha czy Davisa, a w razie czego te kilka minut jeszcze zagra.

 

Sota szuka oszczędności i po amnestiowaniu Darko dodali oddanie Millera oraz zwolnili Webstera.

 

Bulls oddali Korvera do Hawks tak naprawdę za nic .

NYK właśnie mają nie wyrównać Lina. Trochę dziwne, bo raczej nie ze względu na koszta. Dla New York podatki nie są straszne, także nie wiem czym podyktowana decyzja. Poza już tymi podatkami to wartość Lina po tych 8 meczach jest spora. Ta marketingowa przynajmniej, więc na pewno by się zwróciło.

O, to widzę, że porządnym człowiekiem jesteś ;). Tylko co hejtowanie LBJ ma wspólnego z ZP1?

ZP1 to strona, gdzie można przeczytać teksty spuszczających się na wszystko, co LeBronowe. Nie przebijają, co prawda dwóch/tzrech autorów z 2takty.com, ale jednak... poranną "prasówkę" robię podczas spożywania śniadania przed wyjściem na uczelnię, więc wolę zachować dobry humor, albo po prostu pozostawić stan wku*wienia na tym samym poziomie poprzez odmówieniu sobie czytania, że zły czyn LeBrona tak naprawdę jest dobry, a ja mu po prostu zazdroszczę (krytyka=zazdrość, wiadomo. ;))
